Painting Flowers On This Cold, Icy Day
There's something unsettling about this weather that makes it more difficult than usual
to concentrate on painting. Maybe it's because of my freezing cold nose and toes, in spite
of the fact that I have a 6 ft. long space heater turned to high, just 3 feet away. I'm wearing
two pairs of socks with fleece lined shoes and a sweater as well as a jacket.
I was however able to attack and finish this piece by working in short spurts all day and
evening. Darn, I don't have the right size frame so I had to order one. Can't wait to get it
into a gallery.
